Build-A-Bear releases Fresno Nightcrawler plush

Build-A-Bear Workshop has released a new plush toy modeled after the Fresno Nightcrawler, a cryptid legend originating from the Central Valley. The plush, which features white fur, a smiley face, and posable legs, is part of the company’s seasonal Halloween collection and is available exclusively through its website.

Demand for the item has been high, with reports indicating the plush has already sold out online. The product page for the toy reportedly received nearly 40,000 views within a 24-hour period. In addition to the standard version, a cowboy-themed variant including a hat and pants is also being offered.

The Fresno Nightcrawler is a mythical creature described as white, long-legged figures, often likened to ‘walking pants.’ The legend gained traction following video footage captured in 2007 and 2011, placing it alongside other popular cryptids like Bigfoot and the Loch Ness Monster in internet culture.
