Bujanovac Assembly and BiH Press Council announce upcoming sessions

The Bujanovac Municipal Assembly is scheduled to hold its third session of the year on Monday, September 7, 2026. The agenda includes the dismissal and reappointment of acting directors for several public enterprises and institutions, including JP ‘Komunalac’, the Bujanovac Tourist Organization, and SKC Mladost. Additionally, the assembly will consider the dismissal of the acting director of the Pharmacy and a new staffing organization for the ‘Vuk Karadžić’ Cultural Center, alongside a report on municipal budget revenues and expenditures for the first half of the year.

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Press Council for Print and Online Media will hold its 120th Appeals Commission session on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. Between January 1 and August 28, 2026, the Council received 98 complaints regarding media reporting, with 28 cases resolved through self-regulation mechanisms such as corrections and denials. The upcoming session will review several complaints involving the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH, the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, and various individuals against several news portals and radio stations.
