Bujari political leaders break with Michel Marques to support Alan Rick

Approximately 30 political leaders in Bujari have broken away from Michel Marques following his decision to support Mailza Assis for the Governor of Acre. The movement, led by Vice-Mayor Aparecida Rocha, includes representatives from rural communities, associations, and churches, all of whom have announced their support for candidate Alan Rick.

During the announcement, local leaders highlighted several regional grievances. Pastor Samuel Moreira de Lima reported that 600 families in the Walter Arce Settlement have been left without state support since 2016, facing urgent needs for land regularization and electricity. Additionally, community representatives called for improved infrastructure, specifically requesting more machinery for the municipality's 1,500 kilometers of rural roads and better support for local producers.
