Bukola Saraki calls for unity within Kwara PDP
Former Senate President Bukola Saraki has called for unity within the Kwara State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) as preparations for the 2027 general elections begin. During a meeting with party members at his residence in Ilorin, Saraki emphasized that the party’s strength depends on its ability to unite members, accommodate differences, and work toward common objectives.
Saraki commended party members and aspirants who demonstrated maturity by accepting internal election outcomes and continuing to work for the party. He also welcomed former members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who have recently joined the PDP across various wards and local government areas.
National Assembly candidates in attendance pledged their loyalty to the PDP and Saraki’s leadership, promising collective effort to ensure the party’s success in future elections. The gathering was intended to reinforce reconciliation and commitment within the state's PDP structure.
