Bulanık hosts inaugural Water Sports and Beach Games Festival
The first Water Sports and Beach Games Festival was held in the Bulanık district of Muş at the Gölpark Millet Bahçesi. Coordinated by the Bulanık District Governorate and the District Directorate of Youth and Sports, the event featured various activities for children and young people.
Water-based activities included canoeing, pedal boats, and inflatable sea boats. Land-based sports featured beach football, volleyball, mini-golf, and badminton. Additionally, the event included a bicycle tour with participation from groups such as the Van Lake Activists and the Tatvan Running Club, as well as traditional archery.
Muş Governor Avni Çakır attended the event and noted that Muş is the 6th youngest province in Turkey. He highlighted that approximately one in two students in the province is a licensed athlete and expressed the goal of combining the region's natural beauty with water sports to create new opportunities for youth.
