Bulgari Pink diamond ring to be auctioned in Geneva

The Bulgari Pink ring, featuring an exceptional pink diamond once owned by European nobility, is set to be auctioned by Christie’s. The sale is part of the Magnificent Jewels event scheduled for November 10 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Geneva.

The 24-carat diamond is described as an intense fancy pink and is estimated to fetch between 11 and 16 million euros. The stone, a Type IIa rectangular diamond of extreme purity, was acquired in India in 1950 by the great-grandfather of the current owner. The jewel was subsequently crafted into an emerald-cut ring by Bulgari, a house historically associated with luxury and the acquisition of rare gemstones from aristocratic families.
