Bulgaria establishes council to accelerate National Children's Hospital construction

The Bulgarian Council of Ministers has established an inter-agency coordination council to accelerate the construction of the National Children's Hospital. The initiative aims to address long-standing delays and create a more efficient, coordinated, and accountable process to serve the public interest.

Led by Minister of Health Katya Ivkova, the council will include ministers from regional development, transport, innovation, education, labor, and environment, as well as officials from the finance ministry and agencies for geodesy and public procurement. The council's primary functions are to propose strategic guidelines, optimize administrative processes, monitor progress, and resolve obstacles to ensure a unified institutional approach to the project's planning and construction.
