In the wake of the poor performance, head coach Aleksandar Dimitrov has resigned. Kiril Kotev, the Technical Director of the Bulgarian Football Union, expressed surprise at the team's weak performance and the suddenness of the coach's departure, stating that the team's current standing reflects their actual capabilities. The union is now evaluating options for a new manager.
