Bulgaria hosts tourism photo contest finals and Miss Bulgaria 2026

Bulgaria is hosting several significant cultural and tourism-focused events. The “Postcard from Bulgaria” photo contest is entering its final voting stage, with the winner set to be featured in the Destinations magazine. The competition received nearly 4,000 entries this year, showcasing various Bulgarian destinations to promote the nation's nature and culture.

Additionally, the Miss Bulgaria 2026 grand final will be held in Plovdiv on October 10 at the Ancient Theatre. This marks a departure from tradition, as the event has historically been held in Sofia. The new format aims to rotate the host city annually to highlight different regions of Bulgaria, with Plovdiv selected over other competing cities like Nessebar and Veliko Tarnovo.
