Bulgaria National Revenue Agency finds 11 violations at retail store

Inspectors from the National Revenue Agency’s Fiscal Control Directorate identified 11 violations at a retail store specializing in Chinese goods during two consecutive Sunday inspections. The first inspection uncovered six violations, while the second identified five more.

The infractions included the issuance of non-fiscal receipts via non-fiscal printers, discrepancies in cash on hand, and the absence of mandatory details on cash receipts. In another inspection of a similar retailer, officials noted a lack of required registers for cash receipt bundles, as mandated by Ordinance N-18.

Some inspections were conducted jointly with the National Police Directorate. In one instance, data was extracted from the commercial entity’s sales management software for further in-depth analysis to determine the full extent of the violations.
