Bulgaria weather: Unseasonably warm and sunny conditions

Bulgaria is experiencing unusually warm and sunny weather for the second half of September. On September 17, maximum temperatures are expected to reach between 26 and 31 degrees Celsius. While most of the country will remain dry, some light rain is possible along the southern Black Sea coast, though sunshine is expected to prevail as the day progresses. Sea temperatures are forecasted to be between 23 and 24 degrees Celsius.

Looking ahead to Friday, September 18, the weather will remain predominantly sunny with temporary increases in cloud cover during the afternoon. Temperatures are expected to range between 24 and 29 degrees Celsius. While much of the country will stay dry, there is a higher probability of short-term precipitation and potential thunderstorms in western Bulgaria and mountainous regions. The Black Sea coast will be slightly cooler but will enjoy significant sunny intervals.
