Bulgarian women's volleyball team splits opening EuroVolley 2026 matches
The Bulgarian women's national volleyball team has recorded one win and one loss in their opening matches of the EuroVolley 2026 championship in Brno, Czech Republic.
In their first Group B match, Bulgaria secured a decisive 3:0 victory over Ukraine with set scores of 25:23, 25:23, and 25:20. Despite trailing significantly in the first set, the team led by coach Marcello Abondanza staged a comeback to win the match.
