Bulgarian Development Bank shortlists three executive director candidates

The Bulgarian Development Bank has concluded its first open competitive selection process for an executive director and member of its management board. From a pool of 27 applicants, the bank has shortlisted three candidates: Angel Naydenov, Kostadin Karanlakov, and Nadya Koshinska.

All three finalists possess over 30 years of professional experience in the banking and finance sectors. Their expertise includes corporate lending, banking administration, and credit portfolio management. The selection process was conducted in accordance with national and European regulations, as well as internal rules following audit recommendations.

The candidates' applications have been forwarded to the Bulgarian National Bank for regulatory assessment and preliminary approval under the Credit Institutions Act. Once the central bank completes its evaluation, the bank’s supervisory bodies can finalize the appointment of the new executive leadership team.
