Bulgarian folk ensemble Goce Delchev dazzles at Spain's Folk del Mondo festival

The Goce Delchev folk ensemble from Bulgaria performed at the 39th edition of the international Folk del Mondo festival in the Spanish cities of Jaén and Puertollano. Led by administrative director Vladimir Mitov, who also serves as scientific secretary of the Macedonian Scientific Institute, the group presented authentic songs, dances and melodies of Bulgarians from the historic region of Macedonia. The festival also featured ensembles from South Korea, Senegal and Mexico.

During the event the ensemble gave short presentations to the mayors of Jaén and Puertollano, exchanged symbolic gifts and received commendations from local authorities, reinforcing its role as a cultural ambassador of Bulgaria.
