Bulgarian municipalities announce polling station updates for presidential elections
Municipalities in Bulgaria are implementing changes to polling station locations and accessibility ahead of the presidential and vice-presidential elections scheduled for October 25, 2026.
In the Sliven region, the Regional Election Commission has designated accessible polling stations for voters with visual impairments or mobility issues across the municipalities of Sliven, Nova Zagora, Tvarditsa, and Kotel. Local administrations have provided contact numbers for residents to request assistance or specialized transport on election day.
In the Razlog and Simitli areas, administrative changes have been announced. In Razlog, polling station No. 3 is being relocated to the '15.09.1903–1909' community center following the refusal of a state forestry enterprise to provide its premises. In Simitli, certain addresses on 'Treti Mart' Street have been reassigned between sections No. 3 and No. 4. Additionally, the regional administration in Blagoevgrad confirmed that election materials will be distributed at the 'Orpheus' hall in Macedonia Park.
