Bulgarian National Revenue Agency to auction Lider 96 production complex
The Bulgarian National Revenue Agency (NAP) has announced a public auction for the production complex of Lider 96 in Rogosh, Maritsa municipality. This follows a decision by the Plovdiv District Court to declare the company insolvent, terminate its operations, and order the sale of all its assets.
The auction, scheduled for November 11, 2026, via secret bidding, has a starting price of 4,299,408 euros, including VAT. The property includes approximately 28 decares of land and a 10,614 square meter production building equipped with modern standards, including fire protection and video surveillance systems.
Lider 96, once a major bicycle manufacturer in Central and Eastern Europe, was founded in Plovdiv in 1996. The company's collapse follows a period of aggressive expansion and involvement in international syndicated loans totaling tens of millions of euros.
