Bulgarian Olympic Committee receives keys to new Sofia headquarters

The Bulgarian Olympic Committee (BOC) has officially received the keys to its new headquarters in Sofia. Following a Council of Ministers decision, the organization has been granted the use of the building, formerly the Iranian Embassy, for a period of 10 years.

Located on Vasil Levski Boulevard, the building is situated near the National Stadium ‘Vasil Levski’ and the Sports Palace. BOC President Vesela Lecheva and Secretary General Danail Dimov inspected the premises to plan for upcoming internal renovations and space allocation.

Lecheva stated that the goal is to transform the building into a true ‘Olympic House’ that serves all sports federations. Planned features for the facility include working groups, seminars, an Olympic library, and a museum of the Olympic movement.
