Bulgarian politicians allege secret alliance between Radev and Kostadinov
Radan Kanev, chairman of Democratic Bulgaria (DSB), and Ivaylo Mirchev, co-chairman of 'Yes, Bulgaria', have accused President Rumen Radev and Vazrazhdane leader Kostadin Kostadinov of forming a secret alliance ahead of the presidential runoff.
The criticism follows Kostadinov's announcement that his party will not support Andrey Gyurov in the runoff, stating instead that some Vazrazhdane supporters will vote for Iliana Yotova.
Kanev described the situation as a 'red lamp' for those seeking a democratic and European Bulgaria, suggesting the move signals a departure from pro-European and anti-corruption stances. He warned that such an alliance could increase Bulgaria's international isolation and pose risks to national security and economic stability.
