Bulgarian pop star DARA charges €3 for photo with cardboard cutout

Bulgarian singer DARA posted an Instagram story showing a life‑size cardboard cutout of herself placed as a photo attraction. A sign beside the figure indicated that fans must pay 3 euros for a picture, which DARA mocked by suggesting the fee should be only 50 cents.

The incident comes weeks after DARA secured Bulgaria’s first ever win at Eurovision 2026 with the song “Bangaaranga”. The track subsequently entered the Billboard Global 200, peaking at position 90, making DARA the first Bulgarian artist to reach the chart.
