Bulgarian students engage in police educational programs

Fifth-grade students in Bulgaria are participating in educational programs to learn about law enforcement and civic responsibility.

In Targovishte, students from Hristo Botev Primary School visited the local police station. During the visit, they observed patrol vehicle operations, learned about police equipment used for testing drivers, and discussed digital safety and social discipline with officers. A highlight of the visit included a demonstration by Archie, a German Shepherd police tracking dog.

In Ruse, fifth-graders from Olimpi Panov Primary School joined the ‘Children's Police Leadership’ initiative. The students took an oath and approved an ethical code focused on respecting others, obeying the law, and ensuring personal and community safety. The program establishes a formal cooperation between the school and local police officers.
