Bulgarian students participate in youth leadership and career initiatives
Students in Razgrad and Razlog, Bulgaria, have participated in various initiatives designed to foster professional development and civic engagement.
In Razgrad, students took part in a “Manager for a Day” program at the Information and Consulting Center, where they learned about managing European Union funding, strategic planning, and the Information System for Management and Monitoring of EU Funds. Additionally, a career congress was held to discuss labor market changes, new technologies, and professional realization, aiming to connect local youth with employers and educational institutions.
In Razlog, high school students participated in a similar leadership initiative, stepping into the roles of the mayor and deputy mayors. During the program, students engaged with municipal management, budget administration, and project implementation. Proposals developed by the students included the construction of swimming pools near a new sports hall and a waste separation project titled “Change a habit, change the city” to improve urban cleanliness.
