Bulgarian tennis players advance in Kuršumlijska Banja tournaments

Bulgarian tennis players achieved notable success at the clay court tournaments in Kuršumlijska Banja, Serbia.

Dimitar Kisimov reached his first career World Tennis Tour men's singles semi-final after defeating the third seed, Timofey Derepasko, with a 6:4, 6:3 victory. Kisimov will next face top seed Semen Pankin for a spot in the final.

In the women's competition, Lidia Encheva advanced to the quarter-finals after winning her fourth consecutive match. Encheva, who entered through the qualifiers, defeated the fifth seed Haruka Kaji 6:2, 6:2. She is scheduled to play Elena Bertia of Romania in her next match.
