Bulgarian tennis players reach doubles semifinals in Plovdiv and Serbia

Bulgarian tennis players have achieved notable progress in recent international clay court tournaments. In Plovdiv, Bulgaria, at the Challenger 50 event, Anthony Genev and partner Oleksandr Ovcharenko reached the doubles semifinals. After losing the first set, the pair secured a comeback victory against Federico Jaccone and Georgii Kravchenko with a score of 5:7, 6:3, 10:3.

In Kuršumlijska Banja, Serbia, sisters Denislava and Andrea Glushkova advanced to the doubles semifinals of a $30,000 tournament. The fourth-seeded pair defeated Leila Hana Golubovic and Milica Stošović with a dominant 6:0, 6:0 victory.

Additionally, Victoria Veleva reached the quarterfinals of a singles tournament in Pécs, Hungary, following a win against Lea Belanska.
