Bulgarian theatrical productions announce tours and anniversaries

The comedy production “Opasen Char” (Dangerous Charm), created by the Vasil Drumev Drama and Puppet Theatre in Shumen, is embarking on a national tour. The play, directed by Nikolay Gunderov and based on the prose of Svoboda Bachvarova, explores themes of deception, human nature, and the allure of illusions. The tour will visit several cities, including Sofia, Varna, Burgas, and Haskovo.

Additionally, the Dramedi Theatre is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its production “Who Are You?”. Two anniversary performances are scheduled for October 31 in Sofia at the Nikolay Haitov Art Hall. The play, which focuses on identity and growing up, was created through a co-creative process and has received multiple awards for concept, scenography, and direction. These performances will also serve as a farewell for several cast members transitioning to professional acting studies.
