Bulgarian volleyball player Venislav Antov expressed the national team's ambition to win medals at the upcoming European Championship in September. Speaking during an open training session in Samokov, Antov noted that while the team aims for podium finishes, their primary goal is to perform at their highest level and satisfy the home crowd.

Antov mentioned that the initial weeks of preparation are often the most difficult as players regain form, but the team's morale remains high. He highlighted that playing home matches in front of sold-out stands will provide significant motivation, despite the inevitable pressure during their opening match on September 9.
