Bulla Dairy Foods appoints Peter Hall as new CEO
Bulla Dairy Foods has appointed Peter Hall as its new chief executive officer. Hall succeeds Allan Hood, who departed the role in February, and will officially join the company in September.
Following an extensive global search, the board selected Hall due to his extensive international experience in the food and beverage sector. His career includes over 25 years of leadership across North America, Europe, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Most recently, he served as CEO of CARIB Brewery and President of Beverage within the ANSA McAL Group of Companies. His previous leadership roles include positions at Heineken Americas, Dean & DeLuca, Treasury Wine Estates, and Diageo.
Bulla chairman Ian Sloan stated that Hall is an “outstanding and experienced leader” with a deep understanding of the evolving fast-moving consumer goods and manufacturing industries. Hall expressed his enthusiasm for returning to Australia to lead a family-owned business with a century-long history.
James Downey, who has served as acting CEO for the past six months, will work with Hall to facilitate the leadership transition.
