The Hindi fantasy microdrama ‘Deadline’, produced by BULLET Microdrama, has been named the 2026 National Winner for Best Micro-Drama at the Asian Academy Creative Awards (AACA). This marks the inaugural year for this specific award category.
As the national winner, ‘Deadline’ will advance to the international judging round to compete against winners from the Asia-Pacific region. The series follows a character named Dev, played by Qabeer Singh, who discovers he has only 72 hours to live after meeting a modern-day version of the deity Yamraj, played by RJ Lucky.
Azim Lalani, Co-Founder and Chief Business Officer of BULLET Microdrama and Trinetra AI, stated that the win reflects growing audience interest in the microdrama format. The production utilized Trishul, a script intelligence engine developed by Trinetra AI, which evaluates scripts based on over 100 parameters including character arcs and story hooks.
