Bullfighting draws crowds at Granada and Seville's Corpus Feria

In Granada, Sebastián Castella fought on the shoulders during the first Corpus Feria bullfight, earning a trophy on each of his two bulls and receiving an ear after a successful estocada. Fellow matadors Miguel Ángel Perera and Daniel Luque also participated, with Luque cutting an ear in a later round.

In Seville, the Maestranza hosted a highly anticipated Corpus corrida featuring Morante de la Puebla, Juan Ortega and Pablo Aguado. The event, the first Corpus bullfight in Seville in 15 years, sold out quickly and included a programme of street activities. Morante, recently honored as Hijo Predilecto of Sevilla and a recipient of the city's taurine prize, returned after a serious injury earlier in the year, while Ortega and Aguado added to the classic Sevillian school line‑up.
