Bullish provides $100 million facility to USD. AI for GPU financing
Digital asset platform Bullish has provided a $100 million stablecoin-based debt facility to USD. AI to support its GPU financing ecosystem. The partnership aims to connect on-chain liquidity with the growing demand for artificial intelligence computing power by using GPU hardware as collateral for loans.
Permian Labs, the developer behind USD. AI, intends to use the funds to finance AI infrastructure, such as data centers and compute providers. The debt is expected to be tokenized as sUSDai and listed for trading on the Bullish exchange. David Choi, CEO of Permian Labs, noted that computing power is evolving into an independent credit market.
This initiative represents an intersection of AI infrastructure needs and Real-World Asset (RWA) tokenization. While the model seeks to fill capital gaps that traditional banks may be too slow to address, it faces potential risks including GPU price volatility, secondary market liquidity, and regulatory uncertainty regarding tokenized credit.
