Bulls Girişim cancels partnership with White Burger amid fund probe
Bulls Girişim Sermayesi Yatırım Ortaklığı has canceled its plans to establish a new joint venture, Bulls Gıda Ticaret A. Ş., with White Burger Gıda Sanayi A. Ş. The partnership, which was initially announced on September 15 with a planned capital of 25 million TL, was intended to involve a 50% stake from Bulls Girişim.
The cancellation comes amid an ongoing investigation by the Capital Markets Board (SPK) into various investment funds. As part of this probe, trading has been halted for certain funds managed by Bulls Portföy, and liquidation orders have been issued.
Serhat Doğramacı, the founder of White Burger and winner of MasterChef Türkiye 2020, has publicly denied allegations linking him to the fund investigation. Doğramacı characterized the reports as 'slander' and stated that he has no expertise or involvement in the stock market or financial fund management, noting that White Burger operates on a franchise model.
