Bully Ray criticizes CM Punk’s recent WWE promos

WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray has commented on the ongoing verbal rivalry between CM Punk and Kevin Owens ahead of their Undisputed WWE Championship match. Speaking on ‘Busted Open Radio’, Bully Ray criticized a recent promo in which Punk referred to the WWE locker room as ‘his’, labeling the comment ‘selfish and egomaniacal’. He noted that even legendary figures like The Undertaker typically referred to it as ‘our locker room’ rather than claiming personal ownership.

Bully Ray also addressed Punk’s recent insults regarding Kevin Owens’ weight. He dismissed the comments as ‘meaningless’, arguing that fans recognize Owens’ status as a top-tier performer regardless of his physical appearance. Owens, who recently returned from a neck injury, earned his title shot after defeating Sami Zayn, Finn Balor, and Gunther.

Additionally, The Miz expressed approval of Punk’s recent character work, noting that he enjoys the version of Punk that is vocal about his desire to be in the main event.
