Bully Ray suggests WWE character refinements for Giulia

WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray has expressed the opinion that wrestler Giulia needs character refinements to succeed on the WWE main roster. While praising her in-ring abilities, Ray noted that the transition from the Japanese promotion STARDOM to the WWE system presents unique challenges, particularly regarding television character development.

During a segment on ‘Busted Open Radio’, Ray suggested that Giulia’s persona might require a significant shift or ‘fine-tuning’. He proposed that her mixed Japanese and Italian heritage could be utilized for a new character direction, such as a ‘mafia-esque Yakuza boss’.

Ray also noted that Giulia’s momentum on ‘WWE SmackDown’ has recently fluctuated. He previously criticized the company for missing opportunities to leverage her heritage, such as during a Queen of the Ring match in Italy, and suggested that a return to ‘WWE NXT’ could help her rebuild her character, similar to the path taken by Natalya.
