Bulog allocates 150,000 tons of corn to support micro-farmers
Perum Bulog has increased its allocation of 150,000 tons of corn through the second phase of the Food Supply and Price Stabilization (SPHP) program. The initiative aims to provide affordable feed raw materials for micro-farmers across Indonesia to help manage production costs and ensure business sustainability.
Under this program, the corn is priced at Rp5,000 per kilogram at Bulog warehouses, with a maximum price of Rp5,500 per kilogram when distributed to farmers through cooperatives. Bulog is currently accelerating the completion of the first phase of distribution, which has reached a realization rate of 84.43%, while simultaneously launching the second phase.
Bulog Director Utama Ahmad Rizal Ramdhani stated that the distribution prioritizes micro-farmers and cooperatives to ensure the supply reaches small-scale producers effectively. The program is intended to improve the efficiency of small-scale livestock businesses and strengthen the national food ecosystem.
