Bultaco El Bandido 360 rediscovered in the United States

A rare 1968 Bultaco El Bandido 360, identified as Model 18, has been rediscovered in the United States. Described as a “barn find,” the motorcycle was found in the possession of the original owner's family and has remained inactive for many years.

Produced by the historic Spanish manufacturer, the El Bandido 360 was designed for the open class of off-road racing. It featured a versatile design with two front wheel configurations: 19-inch wheels for motocross and 21-inch wheels for scrambles competitions.

The discovered specimen is noted for its exceptional state of preservation, including its original fiberglass bodywork, which is considered extremely difficult to source today. Other notable original components include Akront rims and Spanish-made Pirelli tires that remain in surprisingly good condition, suggesting the vehicle saw very limited use during its lifespan.
