Bulungan Regent marks 66th anniversary of Bulungan Regency

Bulungan Regent Syarwani led a plenary session of the Bulungan Regency Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) to commemorate the 66th anniversary of Bulungan Regency and the 236th anniversary of Tanjung Selor. The celebrations are centered on the theme ‘Cultural Preservation, Strengthening Leading Potential, Sustainable Bulungan.’

During the proceedings, Syarwani emphasized the necessity of synergy between the executive and legislative branches to ensure policies are effective and targeted. He noted that while differences in perspective are natural in a democracy, both institutions share the responsibility of improving public welfare and achieving sustainable green development.

Syarwani also called for collective contribution from all sectors of society, stating that regional progress depends on more than just the government. He urged civil servants to provide optimal service, the business sector to create jobs, and religious and community leaders to maintain social harmony. He encouraged the youth to drive innovation and creativity to support the region’s future.
