Bumi Resources Minerals directors increase shareholdings

Directors of PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) have been actively increasing their shareholdings in the company. Muhammad Sulthon, a director at BRMS, recently expanded his ownership through multiple transactions in late September and early October 2026. On October 2, Sulthon purchased 90,000 shares at Rp545 per share, bringing his total holdings to 310,500 shares. This followed a series of purchases on October 1 totaling 180,500 shares.

Other management members have also participated in recent stock accumulations. Adika Aryasthana Bakrie purchased 750,500 shares on September 22, 2026. Over the past two years, four directors, including Adrian Wicaksono, Charles Daniel Gobel, and Herwin Wahyu Hidayat, have accumulated more than 5.2 million BRMS shares.

The company indicates these moves reflect confidence in its growth prospects, specifically regarding the development of an underground gold mine in Palu. BRMS is aggressively increasing its plant capacity from 500 tons to 2,000 tons of ore per day, with high-grade gold projects expected to begin operations by mid-2027.
