BUMN companies launch community empowerment program in South Lampung

State-owned enterprises (BUMN) are launching the 2026 Relawan Bakti BUMN program in Desa Bulok, Kalianda, South Lampung, from August 16 to 19, 2026. The initiative is part of a national movement occurring across 11 locations in Indonesia.

The program involves a collaboration between the PTPN Group, including PTPN III (Persero) and PTPN I (Persero), and the InJourney Group, which includes PT Aviasi Pariwisata Indonesia, PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia, and PT Pengembangan Pariwisata Indonesia (ITDC).

According to Denaldy Mulino Mauna, President Director of PTPN III, the collaboration aims to develop Desa Bulok into a sustainable and empowered tourism village. The project focuses on leveraging local natural assets, such as the Teluk Nipah beach area, to create long-term economic and social benefits. Key objectives include improving environmental management, strengthening MSME capacity, enhancing tourism services, and addressing educational access.
