Bund Conference showcases AI developers and the rise of super individuals

The 2026 Inclusion·Bund Conference Developer Day was held in Shanghai, focusing on the theme of “Co-creating the AI New Economy.” The event highlighted the shift toward a new era of AI-driven development, emphasizing the rise of “AI natives” and “super individuals” who leverage generative AI to operate independently of traditional organizational structures.

Key activities included developer salons focused on the commercialization and payment integration of AI products via Alipay, as well as open-source carnivals hosted by Ant Group’s inclusionAI. The conference featured various demonstrations, such as AI-driven public welfare projects, coding-based self-introductions, and tools for training intelligent agents.

Participants included young entrepreneurs, such as 22-year-old Chen Boyuan of Ni Matrix Technology, and even minors participating in AI coding hackathons. The conference underscored the emergence of the “one-person company,” where individuals use AI to manage tasks traditionally requiring entire teams, such as design, development, and operations.
