Bundang Seoul National University Hospital hosts medical-care symposium

Bundang Seoul National University Hospital hosted the ‘Gyeonggi Province Responsible Medical Institutions Joint Symposium’ to strengthen the linkage between medical services and community care. The event aimed to address the growing need for continuous support for patients returning to their communities following the implementation of the ‘Integrated Care Support Act’.

Twelve responsible medical institutions within Gyeonggi Province participated in the symposium, including Bundang Seoul National University Hospital and various regional medical centers such as Gyeonggi Provincial Medical Center branches in Suwon, Icheon, Anseong, Uijeongbu, Paju, and Pocheon, as well as Bucheon Sejong Hospital, Ansan Hospital, Ilsan Hospital, and Seongnam City Medical Center.

Stakeholders from the government, local municipalities, and public health centers gathered to share operational experiences and discuss ways to improve the medical-care linkage system. The symposium included expert lectures on utilizing health data for senior safety and panel discussions regarding the role of hospitals in the era of integrated care.
