Bundesliga and EA SPORTS FC renew long-term partnership

The Bundesliga and EA SPORTS FC have announced the renewal of their long-term partnership, a collaboration that has existed since 1998. The announcement was made in Cologne during Gamescom 2026, with former Bayern Munich midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger attending as a guest of honor.

Under the renewed agreement, both the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 will remain featured in EA SPORTS FC, including EA SPORTS FC 27 and FC Mobile. The partnership aims to provide authentic matchday experiences through the inclusion of teams, players, and stadiums from Germany's top two professional leagues.

Moving forward, the two entities intend to increase collaboration regarding digital content, intellectual property, and emerging technologies. This includes the use of advanced football data and TRACAB tracking features to enhance fan engagement both in-game and through the EA SPORTS app.
