Bundesliga players face injury and fatigue concerns

Several Bundesliga players are dealing with physical setbacks as teams prepare for upcoming fixtures. Borussia Dortmund defender Ramy Bensebaini sustained a thigh injury during a match against Eintracht Frankfurt after contact with Robin Koch. While coach Niko Kovac suggested the injury was minor, Bensebaini is already serving a yellow card suspension and will miss the DFB-Pokal match against Werder Bremen, allowing him time to recover.

At RB Leipzig, defender Castello Lukeba requested to be rested from the starting lineup against Elversberg, citing fatigue. Coach Martin Demichelis implemented significant rotation to manage player workloads, resulting in a 4-0 victory. Additionally, Christopher Nkunku is expected to miss the upcoming DFB-Pokal match against Rot-Weiss Essen due to adductor problems.
