Bundeswehr reservists conduct training exercises in Fritzlar

Approximately 100 reservists from the Kurhessen district group conducted a training exercise at the Hellenwarte training area in Fritzlar. The participants, consisting of both experienced personnel and newcomers, practiced maneuvers in terrain using non-lethal weapons and camouflage.

Organizers and participants noted that the current global situation serves as a primary motivation for their voluntary service. While some reservists expressed concerns regarding international tensions, the stated goal of the training is to maintain readiness to prevent conflict from reaching Germany. Three-star general Nicole Schilling visited the site to recognize the commitment of the volunteers.
