Buniyaad television series to return on YouTube after 38 years

The iconic television series ‘Buniyaad’ is set to return in its original form on the Ramesh Sippy Entertainment YouTube channel after 38 years. Actress Kiran Joneja, who played the character Veeravali in the 1986 production, announced the revival via Instagram.

Joneja noted that the series was originally telecast on Doordarshan, but the production house is now bringing it to a digital platform. She expressed that the comeback aims to provide younger audiences, specifically Gen Z, with an opportunity to understand the history of the Partition of India and the social realities of that era.
