Bunnings Warehouse announces new robotics partnership and retail expansion

Bunnings Warehouse has entered into two distinct strategic developments involving technology and product availability.

MMAPT Robotics has partnered with the retailer to automate the creation of digital product assets. Using patented robotics and AI-enabled capture technology, MMAPT will process Bunnings' product SKUs to generate high-quality imagery, video, and structured data. This initiative aims to support e-commerce, retail operations, and AI-driven product discovery at an industrial scale.

Separately, Reolink home security products have launched across 194 Bunnings stores in Australia and New Zealand. This expansion includes 177 Australian locations and 17 New Zealand locations. The partnership also supports the Bunnings ‘Safer Places Initiative,’ where $2 from every eligible security camera and doorbell sold—split equally between Bunnings and the supplier—is donated to local community safety grants.
