Turkish actor Burak Özçivit has responded to social media criticism regarding his family. The backlash followed the wedding of his sister, Burçun Özçivit, to Hasan Sağdıç in Bafra, where Özçivit and his wife, Fahriye Evcen, were notably absent. While his father, Bülent Özçivit, explained that Burak was away for a film shoot in Adana, Evcen faced criticism for sharing vacation photos with her children during the event.

Özçivit expressed anger over the comments directed at his family, stating, “Leave us and our whole family alone!” He questioned why people were attempting to make a happy couple unhappy with fabricated stories and irrational comments.
