Burbank man arrested for allegedly photographing women at Empire Center

Alfred Hernandez, a 69-year-old resident of San Fernando, was arrested on suspicion of lewd conduct after allegedly secretly photographing women at the Empire Center in Burbank, California.

According to the Burbank Police Department, officers responded to a report on a Saturday afternoon involving a suspicious man. A store employee reported seeing the suspect follow female patrons and use an electronic device to take photographs under their clothing without their knowledge or consent. Two women, aged 48 and 52, were identified as victims.

Hernandez was apprehended as he exited the store. He has been booked on a misdemeanor charge, and formal charges are currently pending review by the Burbank City Attorney’s Office. Detectives noted that the investigation is ongoing and believe there may be additional unidentified victims.
