Burberry launches collection featuring King Charles III’s watercolour

Burberry has unveiled its fifth capsule collection in partnership with Highgrove Gardens, featuring a central motif based on a watercolour painting by King Charles III. The artwork depicts Birkhall, the King’s private country residence located on the Balmoral estate in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.

The collection utilizes a palette inspired by the painting, highlighted by a bespoke laurel green version of Burberry’s signature House Check. Key pieces include the Waterloo and Mayfair trench coats, a car coat, a quilted nylon jacket, and an intarsia-knit wool sweater that reproduces the King’s artwork. Accessories such as silk scarves and cashmere items are also included.

This collaboration coincides with Burberry’s 170th anniversary and is linked to The King’s Foundation, which manages Highgrove Gardens and focuses on nature and sustainability. A portion of the proceeds from the Highgrove x Burberry collection will support the foundation’s charitable work.
