Bureau for European Integration launches Christmas illustration contest

The Bureau for European Integration (BIE) has launched a national illustration contest in Moldova titled ‘Crăciunul mEU acasă’ (My Christmas at Home). The competition invites citizens to create hand-drawn paintings or drawings in A4 or A5 horizontal formats that blend Moldovan winter traditions with European values and symbols.

The winning artwork will be used as the official Christmas card for the Bureau, which will be sent to institutional partners both within Moldova and across the European Union.

Submissions must be sent digitally via Gmail to the specified official email address by November 13, 2026. Entries must include the participant's name, age, location, and contact information. The Bureau has explicitly stated that works created using artificial intelligence or those involving plagiarism will be disqualified. Winners are scheduled to be announced on December 5, alongside an exhibition of the participating works.
