Bureau Veritas launches B.E.S.T. Award for sustainable companies

Bureau Veritas has introduced the B.E.S.T. Award to recognize organizations that integrate at least five different certifications across the three pillars of sustainability: environmental, social, and governance (ESG). The award focuses on a company's ability to unify these standards into a single, coherent management system rather than simply accumulating individual certifications.

Adriacos, a construction company based in Friuli, Italy, has become the first recipient of the award. The company, which recently transitioned into a benefit corporation, utilizes certifications in quality, environment, health and safety, gender equality, social responsibility, and anti-corruption to manage risks and organize internal processes. Adriacos is also working to add certifications regarding work-life balance and cybersecurity to its portfolio.
