Bureaucracy impacts Polish business management efficiency

Excessive bureaucracy is hindering strategic management within Polish organizations. According to data from Factorial, 70% of managers believe administrative burdens distract them from strategic thinking, team leadership, and critical decision-making.

The study reveals that 46% of managers spend more than five hours per week on administrative tasks unrelated to their primary roles. If this time were reclaimed, 57% of respondents would dedicate it to strategic work, 42% to training and development, and 27% to improved team management.

Tomasz Wykowski, Country Manager at Factorial in Poland, noted that modern management requires leaders to develop people and react to changes while providing stability. He emphasized that discussions on modern management must address creating conditions that allow leaders to utilize their core competencies rather than being consumed by operational tasks.
